To all Merrill Industries Customers and Colleagues,
With the advent of 2019 upon us, we wanted to introduce you to Merrill Sales & CSR team members, so you can enjoy placing faces with names and voices. We are very proud of the quality and integrity of their work, along with their multiple years of service to both Merrill and the corrugated industry. This group – remarkably – has a combined 126 years of service in the industry. The joint service of Sheri Bell and Carla Saroce as Merrill’s hardworking CSR tandem, exceeds 46 years! Sheri (the customer pronounced “Queen of Merrill”) has been with Merrill over 35 years and Carla, who returned in 2018, has 11 years with Merrill. Both have extensive knowledge of Merrill’s corrugated packaging business of styles, prints, and die cuts. While Sheri enters orders, talks about deliveries with customers, and offers quoting, Carla does all billing, receivables, customer inquiries regarding invoices, delivery receipts, and account statements.
Working hand-in-hand with Sheri and Carla, our Sales team services a myriad of markets, from food, aerospace, HVAC, graphic displays, firearms, distributors, and many other industries in Southern New England. They are experts in all facets of corrugated: cartons, partitions, inserts, pads, scored sheets, prints, and die cuts.
David Szewczul, the “Dean” of our sales staff, has been with Merrill since 1978, an incredible and successful 40+ year career. Unheard of in today’s world and a tribute to his loyalty and dedication to his company and his colleagues.
Rick Todd, Merrill’s Senior Designer, came to Merrill in 1979 and collaborates with Merrill customers to design their ideal packaging solutions. Another successful long-term career, Rick recently celebrated his 40th year of service. Kudos!
Susan Sych Andresen, fresh off her 4th year anniversary with Merrill, is our Business Administration Manager. In addition to account management responsibilities, visiting customers throughout CT & MA, Susan directs the CSR team to ensure order entry, deliveries, invoicing, and pricing run seamlessly – a very hardworking team member.
John Clough came to Merrill in 2017 with over 40 years in the corrugated industry; serving in multiple capacities as designer, customer service, and sales at major integrators. John’s expertise in our industry is invaluable, as he has seen both internal operations, as well as external customer-centric views of this business.
Tammy Sardinha, our newest team member, came to Merrill in 2018; after 5 years with another major integrator, and sheet plant. She is very knowledgeable and personable and we anticipate will be a tremendous asset to Merrill.
